The former Beatle is set to perform at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on Aug. 7 as part of his "One on One" tour, the venue's owners John Mara and Woody Johnson announced Wednesday.
The concert will mark the 73-year-old icon's first show in the Garden State in 14 years.

"I'd like to express how elated we are to have Paul McCartney back in Jersey," said Mara, according to the Asbury Park Press. Mara is a co-owner of the New York Giants, who share MetLife Stadium with Johnson's New York Jets.

The MetLife concert will be his only stop in the tri-state area for this leg of his tour, according to his website.
