Paul McCartney Adds Two US Arena Shows

Paul McCartney has revealed two additional arena concerts in the United States, confirming an appearance on June 23 at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia and on June 25 at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina. Marking his first concert in Charlottesville, it will be the first performance in Columbia in 22 years by the former Beatle. McCartney and his band will also bring the Out There tour to the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia on June 21.

McCartney previously confirmed plans to hit two American music festivals this summer, headlining the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware on June 19 and Lollapalooza in Chicago on July 31. Sir Paul and his band are currently on tour of Asia with stops in Japan and South Korea.

Those who register at McCartney’s official website by 7 a.m. ET on Thursday, April 30 will have the opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets for the Charlottesville and Columbia shows via the same website starting the same day (April 30) at 9 a.m. A pre-sale for American Express credit card holders will also be available beginning Thursday, April 30 at 10 a.m. and running through Sunday, May 3 at 10 p.m. General on sale begins May 4 at 10 a.m.ET.
