Paul McCartney to perform at Metlife Stadium on Aug. 7

Paul McCartney will finally "Get Back" to New Jersey this summer.

The former Beatle is set to perform at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on Aug. 7 as part of his "One on One" tour, the venue's owners John Mara and Woody Johnson announced Wednesday.

The concert will mark the 73-year-old icon's first show in the Garden State in 14 years.

"I'd like to express how elated we are to have Paul McCartney back in Jersey," said Mara, according to the Asbury Park Press. Mara is a co-owner of the New York Giants, who share MetLife Stadium with Johnson's New York Jets.

The concert will be his first show in New Jersey in 14 years.

McCartney, who begins his multi-continental tour in Fresno, Calif. on Wednesday evening, has announced several shows in the Northeast in recent weeks, including a stop in Philadephia on July 12.

The MetLife concert will be his only stop in the tri-state area for this leg of his tour, according to his website.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on April 22 on Ticketmaster.com. Prices will range from $19.50 to $275.

A presale for American Express credit card holders, meanwhile, begins on April 18.
