Sir Paul McCartney to perform in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - First Niagara Center is rolling out the red carpet for Sir Paul McCartney!
Fifty years after making music history and first arriving in the United States, McCartney will be performing in Buffalo for the first time.
McCartney, a former member of the iconic Beatles and Wings, will perform at the First Niagara Center on October 22. About 16,000 people can fit inside the arena.
The performance is expected to last three hour long and include pyrotechnics, unique video content and massive screens.
McCartney's performance in Buffalo is part of his "Out There" tour, which also includes stops in Columbus, Detroit and Toronto. So far, every concert on his tour has sold out. 
The 73-year-old rock and roll star has already put on 22 shows this year throughout the U.S., the U.K., Japan, South Korea and Europe. According to a press release, the tour, "features music from the most beloved catalog in popular music, spanning Paul's entire career."
Earlier this year he performed at the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards with Rihanna and Kanye West, appeared on the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary special and inducted Ringo Starr into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Tickets ranger anywhere from $29.50 to $300. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on August 31 at tickets.com.
American Express Card members can purchase tickets for McCartney's Buffalo concert from Thursday, August 27 at 10 a.m. through August 30 at 10 pm.
